How to Cite the VectorByte databases

We are grateful when our uses cite our databases for their work. Please make sure to also cite the individual underlying data generators.

Q: Why do VecDyn and VecTraits have DOIs instead of publications?

A: They can still be tracked for citations without writing a publication!

We chose to use DOIs instead of writing papers ‘about’ the databases as our databases are self-explanatory and online resources (papers, had they been written, are the resource and a static).

Further, we are excited that DOIs can still be tracked for citations. See our DataCite Commons entries for VecTraits and VecDyn.
